St George’s Preparatory School is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to support our busy kitchen and dining team. This is a wonderful opportunity to play a key role in the daily life of our school, helping to provide nutritious meals in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

In this role, you will assist with the preparation and service of hot and cold lunches for pupils and staff, maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness, and contribute to the smooth running of school events and special dietary needs. You’ll also be part of our deep cleaning programme during inset days, ensuring our catering facilities are always ready and safe for use.

We are seeking someone who is reliable, hardworking, and committed to excellent food hygiene practices. A Level 2 'Food Hygiene & Safety for Catering' qualification is required, though we welcome applicants willing to gain this certification.
