We are seeking a dedicated Catering Assistant to help deliver high-quality meals and maintain excellent standards of food hygiene in our school kitchen. This term-time role involves assisting with the preparation, cooking, and service of hot and cold lunches for pupils and staff, as well as occasional snacks and catering for school events. You will ensure that all kitchen and dining areas are kept clean and safe, operating appliances in line with training and best practice, and complying with Health & Safety and Food Hygiene regulations at all times.

The successful candidate will be proactive, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards. You should already hold, or be willing to gain, a Level 2 Food Hygiene & Safety for Catering qualification. Training will be provided where necessary. In addition to daily duties, you will contribute to deep cleaning during inset days to keep our facilities in top condition.
