Our Team

We are extremely proud of our committed team of highly qualified, dedicated and experienced staff at St George’s, ably led by Head Teacher, Mr Cormac Timothy.

St. George's is a very special place to work, and an award-winning early years education provider. Surrounded by 35 acres of stunning grounds and staffed by a motivated and supportive team of professionals, no two days here are the same. We feel privileged to educate and support the pupils in our care, and proud to be part of a supportive team of professionals.

Nikki Copsey

Form Tutor

After many years working in the childcare industry and working my way up to a Deputy Manager’s position, I completed my BA Honours in Childhood Studies and then continued studying to obtain my PGCE with an Early Years Specialism. I have taught in two local primary schools in both Reception and Year 1, and more recently I worked at Highlands College, supporting the Level 3 and Degree students in their childcare placements.

I love everything about teaching, but especially the relationships I have the privilege of building with the children and their families and making learning opportunities as exciting as possible.

I now have two young children of my own, as well as a rather active and bouncy cockapoo, so we spend a lot of time outdoors as a whole family. You can normally find us at our happiest either at the local parks, at the beach, or playing in the woods.

I have always admired St George’s and the people who work there, so it was a pleasure to be offered a teaching role here straight after my maternity leave. I love my colleagues and children here, and I look forward to all the exciting adventures ahead with you all.
