Our Team

We are extremely proud of our committed team of highly qualified, dedicated and experienced staff at St George’s, ably led by Head Teacher, Mr Cormac Timothy.

St. George's is a very special place to work, and an award-winning early years education provider. Surrounded by 35 acres of stunning grounds and staffed by a motivated and supportive team of professionals, no two days here are the same. We feel privileged to educate and support the pupils in our care, and proud to be part of a supportive team of professionals.

Julie Hannabuss

Form Tutor

Born and bred a Jersey girl, I graduated from West Sussex Institute of Higher Education (now Chichester University) with a Batchelor of Education with Honours, majoring in English.  During my time at college, I spent holidays travelling around Europe, visiting several countries, and experiencing many different cultures.

I began my teaching career at St. George’s Middle School, Norfolk. The view from my classroom was the Sandringham Royal Estate. This did not however, compare to the beautiful views of Jersey, so I returned home taking up a post at JCP. Having spent several years at JCP, I moved on to teaching at Janvrin Primary School, where I stayed for 21 years. I am delighted to be at St George’s and I am looking forward to utilising my 28 years of teaching experience.

When not at school, I enjoy spending time with my two children and our family dog. I am a keen art and crafter and have undertaken courses in Mindfulness and Art Therapy.
