Our Team

We are extremely proud of our committed team of highly qualified, dedicated and experienced staff at St George’s, ably led by Head Teacher, Mr Cormac Timothy.

St. George's is a very special place to work, and an award-winning early years education provider. Surrounded by 35 acres of stunning grounds and staffed by a motivated and supportive team of professionals, no two days here are the same. We feel privileged to educate and support the pupils in our care, and proud to be part of a supportive team of professionals.

Andrea Lathwell

Form Tutor and Science Teacher

I graduated with a B.Sc.(Hons) degree in Tropical disease Biology from the University of Liverpool and spent the following eight years as a Cell Line Development & Molecular Biologist in the pharmaceutical industry as well as teaching Mad Scientist after-school clubs. It was through my contact with these clubs that I discovered my love of teaching.

I began teaching at St George's in 2014 as a Modern Foreign Languages teacher having spent much of my adolescent years growing up in France.  I have a passion for languages and particularly enjoy Chinese and the history of its origins. I also feel a keen sense of responsibility to help educate the children here at St. George's about climate change and the positive impact we can have on our planet.

In my spare time I enjoy running, quilting and enjoying time with my two daughters.
