We are extremely proud of our committed team of highly qualified, dedicated and experienced staff at St George’s, ably led by Head Teacher, Mr Cormac Timothy.
St. George's is a very special place to work, and an award-winning early years education provider. Surrounded by 35 acres of stunning grounds and staffed by a motivated and supportive team of professionals, no two days here are the same. We feel privileged to educate and support the pupils in our care, and proud to be part of a supportive team of professionals.
I have always wanted to be a teacher – I spent my teens working and volunteering a variety of child-centred settings, from schools and nurseries to babysitting and play care. I graduated from the University of Brighton where I studied Primary Education with a specialism in Modern Foreign Languages. I trained in schools and academies in both the UK and Jersey.
I spent some time travelling and working in childcare before returning to Jersey. I worked as a supply teacher in many Jersey schools including St Georges! For the past academic year I have been working as a Reception Teacher in a Jersey school. I am very excited to now be here at St George’s with my Form I class and am excited for what this year will bring.
In my free time I like to go for walks, bake cakes and spend time with my family.
