Our Team

We are extremely proud of our committed team of highly qualified, dedicated and experienced staff at St George’s, ably led by Head Teacher, Mr Cormac Timothy.

St. George's is a very special place to work, and an award-winning early years education provider. Surrounded by 35 acres of stunning grounds and staffed by a motivated and supportive team of professionals, no two days here are the same. We feel privileged to educate and support the pupils in our care, and proud to be part of a supportive team of professionals.

Cath Jones

S.E.N.C.O, Art & DT Teacher

I joined St. George’s in 1995, initially as a Form I teacher, before moving into Form II the following year. After the birth of my first son in 2000, I took on a part-time role teaching literacy, maths and Art in Key Stage 1. In 2003 my second son was born, and on returning to St. George’s I taught literacy in Key Stage 2 and became the SENCO.

I have always loved working with the children to create interesting and imaginative displays, so was thrilled when the post of Art Co-ordinator became available in January 2013. In 2014, I was offered the opportunity of becoming the DT Co-ordinator. In my spare time I enjoy knitting, sewing and cooking.  I particularly enjoy creating dishes using vegetables harvested from our allotment. My family and I enjoy holidays in France, and have recently achieved a long-held ambition of owning a VW campervan.
