Our Team

We are extremely proud of our committed team of highly qualified, dedicated and experienced staff at St George’s, ably led by Head Teacher, Mr Cormac Timothy.

St. George's is a very special place to work, and an award-winning early years education provider. Surrounded by 35 acres of stunning grounds and staffed by a motivated and supportive team of professionals, no two days here are the same. We feel privileged to educate and support the pupils in our care, and proud to be part of a supportive team of professionals.

Emma Hall

Form Tutor

I studied for my 4 year teaching degree at King Alfred’s in Winchester where I also studied English to degree level. As part of my training, I earned a place on the Urban Learning Foundation and taught in East London Schools whilst living in Newham. After I qualified as a teacher, I taught in Surrey and gained experience teaching in both Year 1 and Year 2 classes. During this time, I ran a Gifted and Talented programme and was responsible for organising sports events for the school.

Before moving to Jersey permanently, I took a year long break from teaching and travelled through Australia, New Zealand and America with my backpack! I was so lucky to have experienced so many new adventures during this time such as climbing a glacier and sky diving!

I started teaching at St George’s after moving to Jersey. During my time here, I have taught in all year groups from Reception up to Form VI. I have also held the position of Literacy Coordinator. I taught history as a subject specialist in Forms V and VI for a number of years and hold the role of History Coordinator.

As well as being a teacher and mother of two, I like to keep fit by running (very slowly!).
