Our Team

We are extremely proud of our committed team of highly qualified, dedicated and experienced staff at St George’s, ably led by Head Teacher, Mr Cormac Timothy.

St. George's is a very special place to work, and an award-winning early years education provider. Surrounded by 35 acres of stunning grounds and staffed by a motivated and supportive team of professionals, no two days here are the same. We feel privileged to educate and support the pupils in our care, and proud to be part of a supportive team of professionals.

Jacquetta Cole

Form Tutor

I became a teacher after working in a range of child-centred settings, from play care to various roles within Education and the Children's Service. I gained a First Class Honours degree in Education Studies at the University of Plymouth, then went on to complete my PGCE at Bath Spa University.

I completed my training in Jersey and worked in three local schools, teaching Reception and Year 3, before taking periods of time out to have a family.

During this time we took our young family to Northern Portugal for two years, where I worked part time, teaching in CLIP International School and The Oporto British School.

Since returning to Jersey I have worked as a supply teacher to balance my family and work life, and I am now delighted to be part of this wonderful community here at St George's.

In my free time I enjoy running, cycling, gardening and cliff walks. My greatest passions are skiing and snowboarding. I also enjoy playing the piano but since lockdown have discovered the joys of ukulele  playing – much easier and lots of fun!
