Our Team

We are extremely proud of our committed team of highly qualified, dedicated and experienced staff at St George’s, ably led by Head Teacher, Mr Cormac Timothy.

St. George's is a very special place to work, and an award-winning early years education provider. Surrounded by 35 acres of stunning grounds and staffed by a motivated and supportive team of professionals, no two days here are the same. We feel privileged to educate and support the pupils in our care, and proud to be part of a supportive team of professionals.

Rachael Morris

Deputy Head Teacher - Curriculum, Head of Lower Prep & ICT Teacher

Computing Coordinator, Maths Co-ordinator and Senior Leadership Team Member.

After being educated to the age of 18 in Jersey, I read Mathematical Sciences at the University of Bath. I then gained a PGCE in upper primary teaching from Rolle College, part of the University of Plymouth.

After qualifying, I spent a short time teaching in Devon, before taking a post at an International School in Alicante in Spain.  I taught a mixed Nursery / Reception class there with children from all over Europe for nearly three years.

On returning to Jersey, I taught in Key Stage 1 and 2 at Rouge Bouillon, before moving to St George's in 2001.

My interests include sport, particularly swimming and sailing.  I greatly enjoy all aspects of computing and am always looking for new coding software and websites to use with the children. I love reading a wide range of books and tend to have a pile set up for each holiday! I am very keen to support Jersey and it’s environment and am a member of the National Trust for Jersey and Jersey Zoo.
