Form VI trip to La Houge Bie
Form VI enjoyed a trip to La Hougue Bie on Wednesday 12th October as part of their history topic on the Neolithic period. The pupils took time to explore the heritage site which included the Neolithic burial chamber, medieval chapel and German war bunker. They spent time in the museum sketching Neolithic artefacts. Gathered around a Neolithic hut, the pupils turned their hand to making limpet shell necklaces, moulding clay pots and even grinding corn on a Neolithic quern.
