Form I Pirate Day
Form I’s topic on pirates and oceans culminated in a fun-filled pirate day on Wednesday. The day started in spectacular fashion with Form IT’s amazing pirate assembly. Back the in the classroom, the children undertook a range of art and craft activities including making a pirate ship or treasure chest using an egg box. The children also each made a fruit skewer and a ship’s biscuit complete with a weevil!
They enjoyed a delicious pirate party lunch and in the afternoon took part in a treasure hunt. The children searched the walled garden for twelve letters which spelt out a secret place where the treasure was buried. Form I cracked the code and enjoyed their chocolate treasure! What a way to end our topic!
