Form VI Leadership Team
"I was honoured to be made Head Girl at Speech Day in Summer 2017. I am trying to be a good role model, and to help everyone be successful and enjoy their time at St George's. As Head Girl, I know I am representing the School, leading other prefects in their duties and helping to form a link between pupils and staff. I made a presentation to the Board of Directors and am looking forward to delivering a Christmas message at the end of the Carol Concert at the end of term."
"Although there are quite a few jobs to do as a head prefect I think one of the main jobs is to act as a role model. I remember when I was in Form III (which was when I joined,) I thought that all the Form VI's were so big and I wanted to do everything they did.
The I day I wrote this, 30th November 2017, was also the day I found out that that I was going to write my first speech for the school Carol Service. I don't remember head prefect's reading a speech at the Carol Service so I think this is a new tradition, as was putting the star on the School Christmas tree. It wasn't quite a new experience for me, as I have been on the stage many times before, but new in that it was the first time I had read out something I had personally written. I am curious about my future as Head Boy as there is still a lot more to come, and I am going to enjoy it while I can."
