The Reading Tree

For the duration of Readathon and World Book Week you will find a ’Reading Tree’ outside Mr Moore’s office, in the main entrance hall.  Encourage your child to take a leaf from the bottom of the tree and onto it write the title of a book that they would like to recommend to a friend. 

They should write their own name on the back of the leaf and hang it onto the tree.  Children may write on as many leaves as they wish, but should only write one title on each leaf.  Take time to read the leaves as you pass the tree, you may want to read one of the recommended books!
