Senior School Transfer Success

I am delighted that once again all of our senior pupils have been offered places at Victoria College, Jersey College for Girls, De La Salle or Beaulieu Convent School. 

The Board and I understand that certainty of transfer to preferred senior schools is an extremely important issue for parents and pupils.  Our unparalleled success in this area, achieved over many years, is highly significant and gives comfort and peace of mind.

Thorough preparation, attention to detail and a focus on traditional values help to ensure that our pupils are well regarded by senior school Heads who are only too keen to welcome them into their schools.

When measuring the ’value added’ at St George’s, I am enormously proud of our ability to help all children to progress.  In the last two or three years, we have helped a number of pupils succeed who had been advised by their previous schools to lower their sights.  No such ceilings for us - we believe in aiming high and encourage our children to have the highest expectations.
