Form I - 'Fun in the Woods' May 2010

Form I had a fabulous time in the woods last week. The children were challenged to make a collection of items they could find either of different textures or of different colours, sticking them onto a special band.  They came up with a wide variety of things and there was great delight when discovering something different to add to their band.  They enjoyed sharing their creations and wearing their finished head bands.
The children then had another challenge of being blindfolded and having to feel and identify different objects.  Some were natural items the children had seen on their walk and others were from the classroom – the rubber duck caused quite a few giggles but was something definitely from Mrs Cox’s classroom!
