Donkey Appeal May 2010
Well Done, Jordan
Jordan Rive’s fundraiser was a great success last week (Wednesday 5th May 2010), raising an impressive £25.00 for the Jersey Donkey Sanctuary.
He is grateful to all the staff and pupils for their support of the event and for helping to raise enough money to adopt a donkey. A special thank you is reserved for Mrs Clavel who provided the carrots for ’estimate the number of carrots in a sack’ and to Mrs Cath Jones for providing wonderful ’donkey’ prizes. He is especially indebted to his friends – Nathan Bouten, Alexander Burgess and Louis O’Hara for their invaluable assistance.
Congratulations to the following prize winners:
’Guess the number of carrots’ (total 47)
Forms III & IV Ben Daniels
Forms V & VI Florence Balderson and Louis O’Hara
Staff Mrs Kiddie & Mr Moore
’Pin the tail on the donkey’
This was an extremely popular event (especially for the boys and girls in Form I). There were a number of very accurate attempts but the first pupil to place the tail correctly was:
Kit Pemberton
Well done and thank you
