Year 5 & 6 Open Cross Country 2009

Well done to all our runners who took part in the Open Cross Country Championship on Wednesday 14th October at Les Quennevais.  We were fortunate with the weather, a rather mild sunny, autumn day. The results are now in with special congratulations going to Alia Byron who came third in the Year V girl’s heat and to Josh Daniels who came 6th in the Year VI boy’s heat.  Both the Year V and VI girls came fifth overall as a team, narrowly beating the boys who came 8th and 7th respectively.  It was a fun filled event enjoyed by all 600 children!
