Rachael Morris

After being educated to the age of 18 in Jersey, I read Mathematical Sciences at the University of Bath. I then gained a PGCE in upper primary teaching from Rolle College, part of the University of Plymouth.

After qualifying, I spent a short time teaching in Devon, before taking a post at an International School in Alicante in Spain.  I taught a mixed Nursery / Reception class there with children from all over Europe for nearly three years.

On returning to Jersey, I taught in Key Stage 1 and 2 at Rouge Bouillon, before moving to St George’s in 2001.  I am currently teaching Form IV and ICT for the whole of Key Stage 2.

My interests include sport, particularly swimming and sailing.  I greatly enjoy spending time improving my ICT skills and recently completed a course on web page design.  I love reading a wide range of books and tend to have a pile set up for each holiday!
