Everybody Reads In Class (ERIC)

On Friday 17^th October we held an ’ERIC’ session. Every child from Form I to Form VI was partnered with another child from a different Key Stage to share a book.  All across the school the older children could be seen hearing the younger children read, gently encouraging and helping them with tricky words.  The younger children then listened intently as their older partner read them a story of their choice.  Each child gained a great deal from this experience and we are looking forward to our next ERIC session.
