Choir Outing at Chateau Vermont
On Friday, 13th June members of the Senior Choir sang at Chateau Vermont, the beautiful home of the newly established Jersey Music Academy, as part of a ’Fresh’ Concert. This series of concerts, organised by Chris George and Emmanuelle Dumas, is a showcase for young, local musicians. Our Choir sang beautifully at the start and end of the concert, ably accompanied by Mrs Josie Moore. We also listened to three very talented musicians – Georgina Sutton (piano), Jack Doyle (trombone) and Aaron Burrows (piano). It was wonderful for our children to hear other youngsters performing to such a high standard.
Our Choir will be singing again to open the Summer Fete at St. George’s at 12 o’clock on Saturday 21 June and at the Summer Concert on Thursday, 10th July.
