St.Georges

Welcome to St George’s

Children are at the centre of all that we do at St George’s Preparatory School.  We believe that every boy and girl has the ability to excel in his or her own way; it is our privilege to help them to achieve their full potential and to encourage them to take as much pleasure in the success of others as they do in their own.  We do not aim to do this alone but look to work closely with parents in partnership.

Choosing the right school for their son or daughter is one of the most important decisions a parent will make.  My staff and I are always delighted to show parents around our School, to answer their questions and to discuss the needs of each child whether they are already a pupil or if they are thinking of joining us at La Hague Manor.

School Reports

No -not those!  But with so much happening it is not always possible to keep the website as up to date as we would like.  However this week we have added a number of new write ups.  Click on Florence Nightingale for Form II E's assembly, GA Bonfire Night for a report and photos of the celebrations and The Trench for Form VI's visit to Samares Manor last week.   There's the inter schools' Cross Country report  too but who's ERIC? Click here to find out.

The Week Ahead

Each week Headmaster Colin Moore reflects on the trials and tribulations of the previous week whilst looking forward to the week ahead.  With a new rugby season, a new basketball season and a one year old puppy to contend with a school of 200+ pupils is child's play!  To see this week's sheet click here>>

School Meals

The School is proud to offer a cooked meal to each pupil and staff member every day.  This important social occasion helps the bonding process and teaches important social skills.   We remain committed to quality and healthy options.  For this week’s menus  click here>>

Parking

This week I have issued a letter regarding the problems we are experiencing at drop off and collection time.  The success of the School and the additional pupils is causing congestion.  I urge each parent to read my Week Ahead sheet and take note of my comments.  A copy can be accessed by clicking on the link opposite.  Our first priority is the safety of your children...
